House Matilde Bed & Breakfast - Sorrento

I had a quite comfortable stay at House Matilde. the hotel was an incredible base for enjoying a really quiet area, not far from Marina Grande, shops and restaurants and the center of town and Positano. - the breakfast had lots of options and included coffee and pastries. - the room was updated and airy in general, like in the pictures. - Most of the staff were very helpful. - the location was favorable, relatively near Basilica di Sant'antonino.

The position was very scenic and stunning. Eateries and restaurants are next to the hotel. - It was 10 minutes on foot from the downtown.

The staff were very very helpful and helpful, with extra attention to the details. The rooms were extremely spacious in general, like in the pictures. The breakfast had lots of options: coffee and pastries...

Everything was good with large rooms. The location was perfect, not too far away from a baroque church. Took a walk around city center, located not very far from the hotel😃

The hotel was a convenient base for enjoying a really quiet area, near the island of Capri and Sorrento town center. the location was very scenic, within a short walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. - Stopped by Bar Pasticceria Le Sirene to get some coffee and treats; it's next to the venue, highly recommend.

I had 4 nights in Sorrento, spending the time here really good. Very central location was a plus. 3. Had nice dainties at Bar Pasticceria le sirene, located next to the hotel. I stayed in Sorrento for 4 nights, and it was a great experience. the central location of the hotel was convenient, and I enjoyed some delicious treats at the nearby Bar Pasticceria le sirene.

Close to Marina Grande and city center. Amazing hosts, daily room breakfast, helpful with recommendations and connections. Perfect location after pedestrian street. Comfortable room, big bathroom, fridge and air-conditioner.

The room with a balcony was perfect for my needs, and the central location was amazing for exploring the town.

The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. We could see the sparkling blue waters and the stunning coastline, which made for a romantic atmosphere during our escape. Another thing we liked was the friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. They gave us great recommendations for nearby attractions and arranged a day trip for us. the location was ideal as it was close to all the main attractions and restaurants, making it convenient to explore the city on foot.

There was no coffee machine, which meant we had to go out in the morning to get our caffeine fix. the room lacked any kind of garden or outdoor space, which would have been nice to relax and soak in the sunshine.

Gianfranco, the host, was accommodating and helped us settle in. The location was convenient and the room wasnice and neat with a beautiful balcony. Breakfast every morning was a great perk. We would definitely stay here again!

Our group of friends had a fantastic time staying at a lovely place on the coast. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center and within easy reach of the train station and boat dock. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with towels provided. We also appreciated the helpful host who gave us great tips about the city and even allowed us to extend our stay. the house had convenient facilities like a microwave, water kettle, and espresso machine.

It was a bit challenging for us as foreigners to find the place without assistance.

They even allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel on our last day. the room had a balcony and the furniture and bathroom were of good quality. the air conditioning in the room was a great addition, especially during the warm summer days. the location of the bed & breakfast was even better than I expected. It was situated at the end of the central pedestrian street in Sorrento, making it easy to explore the area on foot. There were supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and the beautiful marina was within walking distance as well. One delightful surprise was the complimentary espresso in the reception area. the room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice big bathroom. It also had a fridge for convenience. I had a fantastic experience at Casa Matilde and would definitely stay there again in the future. cons: Cannot find any fault 👍.

The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful Amalfi Coast and other nearby attractions like Pompeii. The room wassuper clean and cozy, and the shower was excellent. the host provided us with valuable information about the local area. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Sorrento.

We got amazing value for our money at House Matilde in Sorrento. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The location was perfect, close to the center and in a scenic area. The staff, especially Gianfranco, was friendly and accommodating, providing us with lots of helpful information about the local area and recommendations on places to visit and eat.

The breakfast could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.

House Matilde was a hidden gem in a great location. Gianfranco was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely balcony. The breakfast provided was a great perk. Absolutely recommended!
